Management Profile

The Management team is made up of mainly the Chai family members from Kuching supported by Samuel Chai from the United Kingdom.

Key Personnel are:

Victor Chai (Position - Managing Director)

Victor holds vast experience in general and commodity trading and haulage industry from having involved in the management of a Malaysian group of companies based in Kuching. He was instrumental in turning one of its subsidiary companies into one of the largest haulage and transport businesses in Kuching. Since 2004 he has been the Managing Director of Borneo Life. Borneo Life is involved in sourcing properties for buyers, managing properties, helping promote tourism in Kuching. Also it welcomes foreign nationals by assisting them with their move to Kuching. Having an eye for design, he helps with the interior design of a no. of the properties that we manage or help to buy. Of recent times, he helped put together the homestay accommodation activity that the business is in. He is a member of the management team of Big Ben Limited, a UK company.

Chai Kian Khiong aka Samuel Chai (Position - Executive Director)

A Chartered Certified accountant by profession, Samuel previously worked at the National Audit Office, London, United Kingdom on governmental department and statutory body audits for over a decade. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants spending several years of his career working in Malaysia. He has been actively involved in UK and Malaysian property market having assisted foreign nationals buy Malaysian properties. In a small way he helps promote Malaysia as a tourist destination and as a place to set up second home. He too helps investors interested in buying into the UK business or property.

A key advisor of the Company, he is on the board of Big Ben Limited, a UK based property management company.

Chai Nyuk Moi (Position – Operations Manager)

Based in Kuching, her role is on all the day to day operation of the business.
